The Story
Charlie Gumbleton can’t sleep.
His father disappeared a year ago, and that is the least of his problems.
When Charlie can sleep, he has nightmares. Nightmares in which ten foot tall mentally challenged sword wielding cast
iron robots try to capture him in a straight jacket. When Charlie is awake, his school mates try to knock him out by shooting
footballs at his head.
Life is a dry salad with no dressing.
One evening Charlie falls asleep and finds that his dreams are much more than they are cracked up to be. Charlie is
transported to the Counterworld, a world where dreams take place, and with a group of new friends sets out to find
his father and prevent the imminent destruction of humankind.
